Supervision
Supervision is all about you being the best you can be for your clients. As a qualified and accredited coach supervisor, I am privileged to work alongside coaches supporting them in their practice.
Supervision enables a coach to deeply reflect, surface unconscious thoughts, becoming more aware of their own personal processes and their impact on client work and relationships. I help coaches to increase their resourcefulness, effectiveness and confidence, and to embrace who they are as a coach.
Whilst supervision may focus on client issues, it is also about you and your wider practice, including:
Development – helping you to develop and grow your practice
Resourcefulness – always being mindful of your capacity and internal resources to be as effective as you can be
Best Practice – being alert to working ethically and exploring best practice
Coaches who work with me are at all stages in their coaching careers from newly qualified through to highly experienced practitioners.
Creative techniques form part of my practice. Imagery, art and walking are all great ways to expand your thinking and to become unstuck. I offer virtual and walking supervision. If we work together virtually I may introduce drawing or imagery to help you explore your client work at a deeper level. No drawing skills are necessary, just an openness to working in this way.
One-to-one supervision takes place either online, over the phone or face-to-face as a walk and talk in Brighton, East Sussex. Walking has been shown to boost creative thinking and the generation of new ideas by up to sixty percent. It is a great way to get a fresh perspective or new insights into your client work. It’s also a great way to get more movement into your day.
Fees
Fees are shaped around your practice and your own fee levels. I also offer affordable supervision for coaches who solely do pro-bono coaching.
If you would like to know more and/or would like to explore supervision with me, please contact me and we can arrange for a call to talk through my supervision approach, your requirements and how we may work together.

Testimonials
‘Thank you so much for the supervision yesterday! Lots of penny drop moments and your guidance and supervision were exceptional. Thank you so much for your time, energy and wisdom.’ Simon, executive coach
‘Helen, had two great chemistry calls recently with new clients. Your supervision has helped me relax into being myself. I felt great during the calls. Thank you for your help.’ Charlie, internal coach
‘I have made the effort to coach "clean" following our last call. It has made me very proud of my coaching. I have also achieved good results for my coachee. Thank you for your continued supervision, it is having a good effect on me as a coach. I feel I am being the authentic coach I want to be.’ James, career coach
‘Your role modelling of how to bring nature into a session has been really helpful. I feel like I've had a training session on how to use nature in coaching. This session has helped me recognise I need to use my intuition when working with my client, be prepared to step out of my comfort zone and that it's ok to not know where we are going.’ Jane, coach and business psychologist
‘Helen, Just had a great coaching call with my difficult coachee whom we talked about. Thank you for helping me manufacture a strategy for the call that worked very well.’ Sarah, well-being coach
